Welcome Adult Nurse Practitioner Heike Nuhsbaum!
Heike Nuhsbaum, MSN, ANP- BC joins Phinney Primary Clinic with over 20 years of experience as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She earned her nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and her Master’s degree from the University of Washington School of Nursing.
Heike is passionate about helping her patients achieve their best health through evidence-based medicine, thoughtful partnership, and, above all, careful listening. Her clinical interests include supporting women through the transition of perimenopause and menopause, preventive care, travel medicine, weight management, cardiovascular health, and the treatment of anxiety and depression.
A Seattle resident since 1993, Heike is excited to join Phinney Primary Care and Wellness. She was especially drawn to the clinic’s commitment to meaningful patient connection, including longer visits that allow time to listen, understand, and provide individualized care and the close proximity to her home was an added bonus. She will start seeing patients at our clinic in OCTOBER 2026.
Outside of work, Heike enjoys long walks (preferably with modest altitude gain), being outdoors in her garden, exploring Washington’s beautiful coastlines, and time with friends and family—especially husband, Jason, and daughter, Leyna.
